Meet the Doc

Capt. Marcus “Doc” Haralson is owner and operator of Doc’s Fishing Clinic and Guide Service. He served 9 years as an FMF Corpsman with various marine units and is a combat veteran. Now he’s a professional fishing guide offering year round fly and light tackle fishing trips in the Corpus Christi and Port Aransas area.

The Doc guides full time on the flats of the lower Laguna Madre, specializing in catching big redfish on fly and light tackle. Capt. Marcus also teaches an on-the-water fishing clinic to people new to saltwater fishing and a navigation course to new boat owners. Along with his clinic he provides free casting demos and fly events in the spring and summer months. He is also one of the Host on a popular S. Texas Outdoor/Adventure Podcast, The Wilder Bend. 

The Doc is has gone around the world a few times but is still constantly searching for the next fly fishing adventure.
